Hi, I'm Janna Strahan! My greatest passion is teaching first graders at Bear Creek Elementary! Being a part of your child's journey towards literacy is one of the most extraordinary experiences I can imagine. I have taught elementary school students for the past 20 years in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, England, and Colorado. My B.A. is from West Chester University in Elementary Education.  I am currently finishing my Masters Degree with Grand Canyon University.  I have been certified by the state of Colorado in Elementary Education since 1997.  My husband, Jon, and I have five amazing children and three grandchildren.  You might catch a glimpse of my son, Jack, in First Grade at Bear Creek this year.  In addition to literacy and travel, I am also passionate about my garden, the mountains, running, and potato chips!
